**Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities**:

- Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
- Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
- Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
- Manage end to end hotel inventory and maintenance
- Preventive maintenance planning and execution
- Create SOPs & Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
- Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
- Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
- Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
- Assist guests when necessary.
- Keep the linen room stocked and managing linen & extra bed inventory
- Create maintenance best practices at hotel level & Ensure timely execution

**Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.**
- **Clean Bathrooms and Utensils**:

- **Help in other departments like kitchen when needed**

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
Housekeeper Requirements:

- Effective communication skills - English speaking is a bonus
- Exceptional attitude and looking to learn and train the team new methods for optimisation for cleaning & maintenance
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Take ownership & Work well unsupervised.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
- Proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.
- Expert understanding of HK chemicals as well as Maintenance best practices
- The ability to multitask.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
