**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Record Management**:

- Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the general ledger.
- **Reconciliation**:

- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and other financial accounts.
- **Taxation and Compliance**:

- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Support in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenditures and report variances to management.
- **Payroll Processing**:

- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required by management.
- **Internal Controls**:

- Ensure adherence to internal control policies.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
