**Role Summary**
The Night Billing Executive Cum Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing billing processes during night shifts, assisting patients with billing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth patient experience through effective coordination and communication.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Billing Operations**:
- Accurately prepare, review, and process patient bills, invoices, and insurance claims.
- Maintain up-to-date records of patient charges, including consultations, treatments, and additional services.
- Ensure that all billing transactions are logged in the hospital’s billing system in real time.
- Address billing discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- **Patient Coordination**:
- Welcome and assist patients during check-ins and check-outs, providing information on hospital policies and services.
- Coordinate with the nursing, medical, and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Serve as a point of contact for patients’ queries related to services, accommodations, and billing.
- Address and escalate any patient concerns to relevant departments for prompt resolution.
- **Insurance and Payment Processing**:
- Process insurance claims and liaise with insurance providers to verify coverage and claims status.
- Guide patients and families through insurance documentation and payment processes.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments with accuracy, ensuring all transactions are logged securely.
- **Data Entry and Reporting**:
- Enter patient details and billing information into hospital records and management systems.
- Generate daily shift reports summarizing billing activities, patient complaints, and feedback.
- Ensure all records comply with hospital data privacy policies.
- **Communication and Support**:
- Communicate effectively with other hospital departments (e.g., nursing, medical, housekeeping) to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide information to patients and families about available services and expected charges.
- Collaborate with night security and administrative staff to ensure hospital policies are upheld during night hours.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in hospital billing or customer service roles, preferably in a night shift capacity.
- **Skills**:
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in billing and hospital management software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,889.24 per month
