Job Title:
Oracle Cloud Database Administrator

Job Experience:
5+ yrs

Job Status:

Necessary Attributes:

- Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle Cloud database
- Minimum 5 years experience in Database Administration for large organisations
- Demonstrated skills in automation development and implementation (DEVOPS/infrastructure as code)
- Support, administer, and maintain production, testing, and development environments.
- Work to ensure that best practices in management of Oracle Databases in cloud systems such OCI are maintained.
- Work to assure that targeted Service Levels for production database availability and performance are met or exceeded
- Deploy databases in Oracle cloud using infrastructure as code tooling such as CI/CD pipelines and terraform.
- Work with server administrators, network engineers, and Oracle product support to resolve issues and prevent downtime.
- Follow and enforce database policies, procedures and standards, and ensure their conformance to procedures. This applies to both non-production and production systems.
