**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for solar panels, inverters, structures, cables, BOS materials, and other project-related items.
- Request and evaluate quotations from vendors and prepare comparison sheets for management approval.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and timely procurement.
- Coordinate with project, design, and logistics teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications and project timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain proper procurement documentation and records.
- Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Maintain material inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Support project cost estimation and budgeting by providing accurate procurement inputs.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in **procurement or purchase**, preferably in the **solar industry**.
- Strong knowledge of solar project components (modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP tools.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in EPC or solar installation companies.
- Familiarity with import procedures, vendor sourcing, and logistics management.
- Knowledge of GST, purchase documentation, and contract terms.
