**Role** : Safety Officer

**Location**: Bhubaneswar, Orissa

**Qualifications**: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field with certifications like NEBOSH, OSHA or SBTST 1 year Safety course after diploma or degree.

The Safety Officer has to ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel on our project sites and the adherence to safety regulations and guidelines as per the site/client requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety standards, rules, and regulations on projects sites. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.

Safety Training: Organize and facilitate safety training programs for project site personnel. Ensure that all team members are informed about safety protocols and procedures.

Incident Management: Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents on-site. Prepare detailed reports on the causes and recommend preventive measures.

Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety reports, inspections, and incident documentation. Assist in the preparation of safety reports for regulatory authorities.

Safety Equipment and Gear: Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all workers. Oversee the maintenance and quality of safety equipment.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and evacuation procedures. Conduct drills and exercises to prepare personnel for emergency situations.

Safety Communication: Communicate safety concerns and updates to project managers, site supervisors, and workers. Promote a culture of safety and awareness among all team members.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant safety laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable safety codes and requirements.

Experience as a Safety Officer in projects.

Knowledge of project site safety regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Willingness to work on project sites and travel as needed.

Knowledge on First Aid and CPR.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
