**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Client Acquisition**: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- **Needs Assessment**: Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable insurance products, such as life, health, auto, home, and business insurance.
- **Policy Sales**: Explain the features, benefits, and coverage of insurance policies to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
- **Customer Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ongoing support.
- **Claims Assistance**: Assist clients with the claims process, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth experience.
- **Market Research**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new insurance products to provide the best possible service.
- **Follow-Up**: Conduct follow-up calls and meetings with clients to review their insurance needs and update policies as necessary.
- **Sales Targets**: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance terms clearly.
- **Sales Skills**: Proven track record in sales, with strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- **Customer Focus**: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to assess clients' needs and recommend suitable insurance products.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Proficiency with insurance software and basic computer skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle objections and provide effective solutions.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., state insurance license) may be required.
Work Environment
- **Location**: This role can be performed in an office setting or remotely, depending on the company’s policies.
- **Hours**: Full-time or part-time hours, with potential for evening or weekend shifts based on business needs.
- **Tools**: Use of a telephone system, computer, and insurance software.
