To maximize inventory efficiency, while maintaining desired level of in stock and fill rate

percentages for all channels of sales and distribution

KRA:
1. Inventory planning - planning safety stock levels across the regional distribution

centres and billing depots. Monitor the levels, and plan timely replenishments.

Periodically monitor slow or non-moving inventory and plan for the consumption.

Responsible for warehouse inventory planning of the external 3P warehouses. Manage

inventory levels and replenishment orders in line with agreed inventory targets

Maintains accurate sales forecasts and plans inventory that achieve fill rate and service

level goals. Recognizes and responds to trends and seasonality.

Identifies and makes recommendations for action on slow turning, non-working and

obsolete inventory.

2. Distribution planning - planning the accurate distribution of produced goods across the

country to ensure nil stock outs and at the same time avoiding piling of excess inventory.

3. Demand anticipation - anticipate demand by constantly analysing the sales trend and

very close interactions with field sales team, regional logistic teams. Utilizes available

reporting to analyze inventory performance and monitor key performance indicators.

Makes adjustments or provides recommendations to improve performance.

Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate

associated risks

4. Capacity availability - assess the existing storage capabilities and plan inventory. In

case of crisis, research possible solutions to store the items that will meet budget,

security and location needs.

Work closely with manufacturing sites to plan production schedules that align with

customer demand.

5. Coordination - coordinate with stakeholders such as factory dispatch teams, DC,

procurement and depot teams, demand/production planners, sales and marketing teams

for various activities. Collaborates with cross functional departments to improve overall

efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.

Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related

information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans

and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team

approach.
