Job duties:

- Focus school community while implementing policies on education of the Republic of Lithuania, initiate and implement the PYP of the IBO
- Familiarize school community with the national and the PYP policies.
- Coordinate activities of the School Council.
- Serves as the academic leader of the early childhood/primary and the PYP programs directly responsible for the general organization and efficient administration of such programs.
- Assumes the responsibility for creating and maintaining a school culture indicative of a professional learning community.
- Remains informed and supportive of all school policies and regulations.
- Works collaboratively with the administrative team, keeping everyone informed of activities and special events at the primary school level.
- Plans and approves budget by submitting requests for instructional needs after careful analysis and collaborative discussions with teachers.
- Develops a public relations programme in order to further the community’s understanding and support of the educational program.
- Is responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing an effective programme for students in the school;
- Supports curriculum review and the PYP planning processes.
