**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES OF AN IB PRINCIPAL**
**Characteristics of the ideal person for this position we are looking for would include**:
- An outstanding experience of being an IB educator guiding the students in any one of the culmination projects PYP Exhibition/MYP Personal Projects/DP Extended Essay
- A Strong understanding of New IB Principles into Practice.
- A Master’s Degree, B.Ed and any other relevant international certificates including mandatory certification of IB categories 1, 2,3
- A minimum of ten years teaching experience, with at least three years in a Principal role; and a programme coordinator for one of the IB Programmes who has lead the team with the Process of Consultancy, Authorization and evaluation
- Mandatory Experience expertise in teaching 5-6 years minimum in any one of the IB Programmes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work collaboratively with the school community;
- Experience in developing and implementing professional development Programmes
- Highly organised with excellent writing, technical and communication skills;
- Strong understanding of all aspects of language development (mother tongue and additional languages)
- Experience with the IB programme development and implementation (i.e., academic counselling).
**PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OR ATTRIBUTES**
- Experienced IBEN Member
- Competency in a second language;
- Understanding of change management and school leadership theories.
