**Position Overview**: Bharat Rasayan is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Officer to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations.

**Job Responsibilities of a Production Officer will be**:
1. **Production Planning & Coordination**:

- Plan and adhere to production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing of products.
- Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure that raw materials and equipment are available for uninterrupted production.

2. **Process Monitoring & Optimization**:

- Oversee daily production activities and ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Troubleshoot issues related to production machinery, materials, and processes to minimize downtime.

3. **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products, ensuring they are aligned with production needs.
- Work closely with production Admin/ store dept. to ensure the timely movement of materials into and out of production areas.

4. **Production Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate production records, including batch manufacturing records, Production register, quality control data compilation and operational logs to monitor statistical process control.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance, including output levels, downtime, and any issues encountered.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and safety to senior management.

5. **Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:

- Coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition.
- Work with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and handle unexpected equipment failures.

6. **Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all production processes comply with local environmental and safety regulations.
- Lead efforts to minimize the environmental impact of the manufacturing process, including waste reduction and energy efficiency initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the chemical industry.
- Must have strong technical background in chemical manufacturing
- Experience working with SS and Glass reactors is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to operate production machinery safely.
- Visual acuity to inspect products and read documents or computer screens.

Pay: ₹212,789.06 - ₹350,000.00 per year
