Job Spec - PMO Consultant (Offshore)

**Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to provide **support to Programme / Project Managers with governance and control activities contributing to the successful delivery of Programmes / Projects to time cost and Quality**

**Experience**
- **At least 6-year experience of working in a Programme / project environment, including multi-workstream programmes and medium sized projects in Europe / US**:

- Good understanding of Financial Management processes required to **support Programmes / Projects (Budget Management, Actuals, Forecasting, Invoicing, managing 3**rd** party POs/invoices)**:

- Experience in managing MS project plans, including dependency management, milestone reporting
- Experience of **managing Programme / Project Change Control processes**, including gathering impacts, managing review and approval process, maintaining trackers, translating back into budgets
- Experience of **managing RAID logs (Risks, Actions/Assumptions, Issues Decisions/Dependencies),** **including challenging Quality of Risks and Issues with PMs, chairing risk and issue review meetings, ensuring logs are up to date**:

- Experience of **managing Programme / Project Reporting** ensuring a good quality of programme / project reports are produced with information that is relevant to the audience and up to date
- Experience of working with people from all levels of the organisation, including working on client sites

**Skills**
- **Ability to work unsupervised** and using own initiative as part of a Programme / Project Team
- Organised with the ability to manage own workload to ensure all deadlines are met
- Approachable and able to deal with multiple requests at the same time
- Experienced in using Excel to an intermediate / Advanced level and a **good working** **understanding of MS Project**:

- **Ability to build working relationships with Programme / Project Managers to gain trust and influence their working practices**:

- Flexible with a “can do” attitude, to work in sometimes challenging environments
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to convey information to various audiences
- **Project / PMO qualification(s) desirable or equivalent experience
