Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The Compliance Assurance Office AVP will support the Compliance Assurance Office VP in delivering their responsibilities including contributing to and providing oversight of: : i) the effective operation and continual enhancement of governance and reporting mechanisms across Compliance Assurance ii) essential budget, headcount and location strategy updates/progress; iii) the enhancement of operations within Compliance Assurance; and v) special projects.

What will you be doing?

Compliance Assurance governance
- Support on the input and materials provided to governance forums to ensure appropriate standard and quality is met.

Compliance Assurance reporting
- Support on the production of all onward reporting by the Global head of Compliance Assurance to relevant stakeholders, Group level committees and the Group Board.
- Support on maintaining management processes and supporting MI and relevant frameworks as appropriate.

Management and enhancement of CA internal and business operations
- Supporting on the management and oversight of the business management of CA, including key processes and activities that enable CA to effectively and efficiently discharge its responsibilities
- Identifying opportunities to enhance ways of working within the Office of Compliance Assurance and across Compliance more broadly, with a focus on existing operational and governance mechanisms.
- Support in implementing enhancements to ways of working across Compliance Assurance
- Provide support to the Assurance Global Services leadership team on ad-hoc activities at the discretion of Compliance Assurance senior management.”

What we’re looking for:

- Experience of working in a COO/Business management role, preferably within a controls function, with strong project management skills that allow for the simultaneous management of multiple complex activities and deliver against challenging deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to communicate messages simply, concisely and in a user-friendly way is critical to being successful in this role.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Knowledge and understanding of Compliance and/or operational risks, their origins and effects and the relevant, practical controls required to mitigate them.
- Minimum education qualification-Graduate
- Ability to act as a team player together with the ability to encourage, lead, engage and empower.
