Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The Assurance Operations Team provides operational support to colleagues conducting Compliance Assurance reviews to allow efficient execution of the Compliance Assurance Annual Plan. The team plays a key role in ensuring that the Compliance Assurance Platform (CAP). The team will also ensure that Assurance reviews are correctly documented within the Compliance Assurance workflow tool, providing assistance where necessary utilising this to provide key insights to Senior Management.

What will you be doing?
- Provide functional management and oversight of junior team members within the Team including colleague development and training.
- Provide day to day operational support to Assurance users of the Compliance Assurance Platform (CAP) ensuring successful usage of the system and completion of reviews, including the on boarding and training of new users and periodic training for CAP users.
- Working with the CAP Development team on system enhancements to performing UAT testing of the Compliance Assurance CAP system and co-ordinating results with technology.
- Develop and utilise strategic reporting and analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Python to deliver automated insights on the progress of the Assurance Annual Plan and other key metrics including build, maintenance and enhancements to existing dashboards.
- Ensure that data held within the Assurance workflow tool (CAP) is well maintained, including the maintenance of core/reference data. Where user-entry data quality issues emerge, engage with relevant business user groups to remediate in a timely manner.
- Provide support to the Assurance leadership team on ad-hoc activities at the discretion of Compliance Assurance senior management.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to be proportionate, pragmatic and resilient. Able to communicate concepts with clarity and purpose both in written and verbal formats.
- Experience managing, analysing, interpreting and reporting using large data sets to provide identify themes and produce meaningful insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to communicate messages simply, concisely and in a user-friendly way is critical to being successful in this role.
- Experience of working with Tableau, Excel or similar for the production and development of automated visualisations and dashboards

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Knowledge of key Compliance risk areas (such as Financial Crime, Conduct and Reputational Risk) and/or relevant regulations and technology systems
- Minimum education qualification-Graduate
- Experience providing system, admin or operational support within a large organisation or financial services.
- Experience of Tableau reporting for the development of automated visualisations and dashboards
- Ability to understand, manipulate and interpret large data sets identifying key data points
- Experience and knowledge of using assurance / audit systems including annual planning, data population, providing system support and engagement with systems technology.
