Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
As a Barclays Compliance Assurance Professional Practices BA4 you will be supporting Compliance in achieving its mission, purpose and objectives by providing an assurance capability to meet the demands of a world class Compliance function. The Compliance Assurance Professional Practices team will lead on the development and maintenance of an operational framework to support Compliance Assurance colleagues in undertaking effective assurance reviews, against agreed SLAs, to assess and report on Conduct and/or Reputational Risk Management, behaviours and attitudes.

What will you be doing?
- Support the team lead with annual refresh and ongoing maintenance of Compliance Assurance Methodologies for the execution of reviews (throughout planning, testing, and reporting) and the monitoring and validation of issues.
- Contribute to the development of a Compliance Assurance wide training plan, and accreditation curriculum, for existing colleagues and new joiners.
- Administrate technical training sessions on a cyclical and ad-hoc basis.
- Enhancement and maintenance of the Compliance Assurance SharePoint.
- Taking a proactive approach to identify and agree knowledge gaps, blockers, and challenges across Compliance Assurance.
- Supporting and delivering solutions to potential enhancements identified by Review Leads, Reviewers, the Compliance Assurance Management team globally, and key external stakeholders (e.g., Business Oversight Compliance, Regulators).
- Provide support to the Assurance Global Services leadership team on ad-hoc activities at the discretion of Compliance Assurance senior management.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience with the production of slide decks, training materials, and communications through PowerPoint, SharePoint, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver high quality work in a timely and structured manner.
- The capability to identify key risks areas including the non-conformance with regulatory requirements and lack of controls, identify root cases, themes and trends.
- Minimum education qualification-Graduate.
- Experience working as part of a global team.
- Experience working in a project team.
- Familiarity with conduct laws and regulations and other pertinent regulatory guidance in order to assess Risks within Barclays Bank.
- An awareness of Data Analytics techniques, and how these can be utilised to increase efficiency and encourage best practice.
