**Job Title: ServiceNow Discovery Administrator**
**Location: Offshore (Remote)**

**Job description**

In addition to supporting all phases of the discovery lifecycle, this position will also be responsible for authoring content and peer reviewing a wide array of documents, including functional, technical and training.

**Minimum Job Requirements:**

7+ years of experience with the ServiceNow CMDB and how it supports other ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, and Asset Mgt.

Experience defining, documenting, and implementing CMDB governance processes and procedures and ensuring that the processes are followed

Experience defining, documenting, and implementing CI Data audits

Experience managing CI data in a ServiceNow CMDB

Experience creating CI Data Health reports, identifying, and resolving CI data gaps to maintain CI data integrity**Desired Skills:**

Bachelor’s Degree Excellent oral and written communication skills

Scripting capabilities such as Groovy and JavaScript

Acquaintance with Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization (WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware)

Intermediate Windows and Unix administration skills

Familiarity with network concepts (routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, IP Subnetting)

Familiarity with the following concepts: XML, and JSON/script language

Intermediate to deep understanding of Ruby and Java RegEx

Ability to discuss credentials, install a product, troubleshoot permission issues, discuss and trouble shoot network connectivity with network engineers
