**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Recipe Development**: Create, standardize, and document recipes for a variety of Punjabi dishes, ensuring authenticity and consistency in flavor and presentation.
- **Kitchen Operations Management**: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and packaging, while ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- **Quality Control**: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- **Team Leadership**: Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and ingredients, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the kitchen operations.
- **Menu Planning**: Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and promotional items that align with market trends and customer preferences.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Chef in a central or factory kitchen setting, specifically within the Indian Punjabi food sector.
- Strong knowledge of Punjabi cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredient sourcing.
- Experience in recipe development and standardization, with an emphasis on quality and authenticity.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
