Responsibilities:

- **Recipe Development**: Create and develop new recipes for baked goods while ensuring consistent quality and taste.
- **Baking Operations**: Oversee all aspects of the baking process, including mixing, shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing products.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation throughout the baking process.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage inventory levels of baking ingredients, supplies, and finished products.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and train baking staff to ensure adherence to recipes, techniques, and safety procedures.
- **Menu Planning**: Collaborate with management to design and update the bakery menu based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure that all baking equipment is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
- **Customer Interaction**: Interact with customers to understand their preferences, answer queries, and provide recommendations.
- **Adherence to Regulations**: Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role in a bakery or pastry shop.
- **Creativity**: Strong creative skills to develop unique and visually appealing baked goods.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- **Organization**: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work effectively.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills to work as part of a team and interact with customers.
- **Qualification**: A culinary degree or certification in baking and pastry arts is preferred.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required in a bakery setting.
