Chief Finance Officer

- **Job Summary**:_

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the overall financial health and strategic direction of the company. The CFO will oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and investor relations. This role requires a highly experienced and strategic leader with a proven track record of success in driving financial growth and maximizing shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities

**Accounts & Finance**:

- Developed high-impact reports for top management summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, inventory and preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide insightful recommendations to the CEO and leadership team. Collaborate with the marketing and procurement teams to set budgets and projections.
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement; Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Banking Relationships: Maintain and develop strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure optimal financing terms and support future growth. Negotiate and manage credit lines and other banking facilities. Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by preparing financial statements viz, P&L Account, Balance Sheet and Annual Reports
- Foreign Exchange Management & Hedging: Develop and implement strategies to manage foreign exchange risk associated with importing inventory. Utilize hedging instruments and techniques to mitigate currency fluctuations and maximize profitability.
- Inventory Management & Forecasting: Collaborate with the procurement team to develop accurate inventory forecasts and budgets. Optimize inventory levels to minimize holding costs while ensuring sufficient stock to meet demand.
- To keep oneself update with the updating of accounting and finance laws and make necessary changes in the accounting system of the company.

Compliance/ Legal Activity:

- To ensure compliance with all mandatory/voluntary accounting standard as per ICAI or any authorized statutory body
- Monthly/Yearly Return - Audit - Assessment - Appeals.
- Prepare the required documents to be submitted to the government authorities/ statutory compliances etc.
- To ensure all the applicable laws and compliance levels are met. To determine statutory liability of the company accurately and make payments on time. To liaison with government department as and when required.
- Undertake appropriate legal course for Collection unresolved issues and track the progress till closure.
- Work closely with cross functions to provide general legal and corporate governance advice on the day-to-day operations to the company.
- Overlooking the Legal matters in coordination with Legal Team.
- To help with legal team, reviews the draft legal notices as and when received from any statutory authorities and also send the notices to debt recoveries.
- Provide internal legal opinion related to the business as and when required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's in Finance preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in senior finance roles, including CFO or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Indian tax laws, including GST, and international tax regulations. Knowledge of Indian government incentive programs for businesses
- Deep understanding of e-commerce and quick commerce business models and their implications for financial management and taxation
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting principles.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
