ABOUT THE ROLE - FINANCE CONTROLLER

As the Financial Controller at Modern Spaaces, you will steer our financial strategy and manage accounting operations. Your expertise will ensure our financial integrity and contribute to our continued growth. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability in Bangalore's real estate sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, compliance, taxation, and reporting.

 Manage day-to-day accounting operations (Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition).

 Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.

 Anchor the project feasibility sign off process and continuously monitor the actual vs budgeted cost to highlight variances and work with key stakeholders to optimize profitability.

 Coordinate the audit process and liaise with external auditors and regulators.

 Ensure complete compliance with local, state, and central government reporting, taxation, and other statutory requirements.

 Review all contracts, understand implications for accounting and provide financial guidance to the business teams.

 Preparing and Publish timely monthly financial reports.

 Establish and enforce accounting standards and procedures; implement and monitor internal controls.

 Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve excellence in financial management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6+ years of relevant experience.

 Prior experience in the real estate sector and a BIG4 firm is highly valued.

 Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

 Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

 Proficient with modern accounting software and ERP systems.

 Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

 A strong ethical framework and integrity.

**Salary**: ₹133,333.00 - ₹166,666.00 per year
