**About the department**
- You will be joining the Global Finance GBS Bangalore team, which was established in 2007. Our team is responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS Bangalore. Our main purpose is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

**The position**
As an Finance Controller at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:

- Identifying value creation opportunities based on business understanding and also collaborating and driving the FPA and GBS Finance initiatives along with the team.
- Running relevant cost reports in SAP, extracting data to Excel, and updating cost controlling reports on a monthly/weekly basis along with collaborating with various stakeholders to drive the month-end closing process, including accruals and repostings.
- Conducting regular audits to verify the accuracy of expenses and invoices and also solve incorrect postings with other finance departments, especially on non-DK projects.
- Collaborating with Director and senior management.
- Prepare high quality Budget/RE/LE submission, presentations for the BRM meeting, analysis files for the management and addressing BA queries and submissions during Budget/RE/LE processes

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Master’s in Finance (or equivalent) from a well-recognized institute with good academic track record and grades.
- Minimum 10-14 years of relevant work experience in finance domain including 3+ years in business partnering role (managing Cost controlling / Project Cost Controlling - cost base of 50 - 70 M USD / 500 + FTE’s)
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with department head and management.
- Experience in business controlling and other finance disciplines
- Solid understanding within the field of accounting and finance
- Proficient with PC-tools, extensive knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Pro-activeness and problem solver
- Ability to handle and prioritize several tasks.
