Expanded our footprint to Mexico.As the Finance Controller at Locus, you will oversee and manage the organization's financial control, bookkeeping and reporting functions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial operations' accuracy, integrity, and compliance while providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This position requires a strong finance, accounting, and controllership background and excellent leadership and communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:
**Financial Reporting and Compliance**:

- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements,Management of Accounting end-to-end processes, Balance Sheet reconciliation & month close process globally
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor changes in accounting regulations and ensure implementation of necessary adjustments.
- Process Reengineering to eliminate bottlenecks &advocate cost savings
- Manage intercompany reporting and consolidation under IFRs & US GAAP.

**Financial Controls and Bookkeeping**:

- Establish and maintain effective financial control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee internal control activities, including risk assessment, identification of control gaps, and implementation of remedial actions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and recommend process improvements.
- Manage the book keeping and AR/ AP team

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgeted targets, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to achieve financial objectives.
- Process Reengineering to eliminate bottlenecks &advocate cost savings

**Team Leadership**:

- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance controllership team including AP/ AR team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high-performance within the team.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external auditors to address financial concerns, provide insights, and ensure alignment with business goals.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting with CA
- Proven experience (8+ years) in finance controllership roles, with progressive leadership responsibilities,
- Proven experience working in a dynamic fast paced Series C/ Series B Startup in SAAS domain
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards ( IFRS & US GAAP) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience in handling Big4 Audit and Diligence.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in using financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proficiency in using ERPs like Zoho books, Quickbooks is must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
