Join us as we pave the way for a new era in home decor **To know more visit**: "Join Our Team - Be the Face of Our Store and Help Customers Find Exactly What They Need" We are seeking a highly passionate and sales-driven Store Promoter to spearhead our sales efforts in the store segment. **Our Major Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai** **Job Overview**: The Sales Executive - General Trade will be responsible for driving sales and promoting the company’s products in the general trade market. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and wholesalers to achieve sales targets and ensure the availability of products in key retail outlets. The Sales Executive will also play a key role in executing sales strategies, improving market penetration, and increasing product visibility. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Sales Target Achievement**: - Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Drive new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and building relationships with retail outlets. - **Relationship Management**: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. - Regularly visit retail stores and general trade partners to ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising. - **Product Promotion & Merchandising**: - Ensure that products are displayed properly at points of sale, creating attractive product visibility. - Conduct product demonstrations and provide training on product features to retailers and sales teams. - **Market Intelligence**: - Monitor competitor activities and trends in the general trade market. - Gather feedback from customers and provide insights on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor strategies. - **Order Processing & Inventory Management**: - Manage order taking, follow-up, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. - Ensure effective inventory management and stock replenishment. - **Reporting**: - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer information, and market data. - Submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager, including performance analysis, market feedback, and sales forecasting. **Skills & Qualifications**: - **Educational Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field (preferred). - **Experience**: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, specifically in general trade or FMCG. - Experience in managing relationships with retailers, distributors, or wholesalers is a plus. - **Skills**: - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the general trade sector. - **Other Requirements**: - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Willingness to travel as needed. - A valid driver’s license (if travel is required). **Key Attributes**: - Goal-oriented and results-driven. - Customer-focused with a proactive approach to solving issues. - Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. - Detail-oriented and quick to adapt to changing market conditions. **Additional Information**: This position may require regular visits to various trade outlets, occasional extended hours, and traveling across assigned regions to ensure market coverage and sales performance.
