We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef (South Indian - Breakfast) to join our culinary team.
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic South Indian breakfast dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, pongal, upma, and chutneys.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
- Innovate and introduce new breakfast recipes while preserving traditional flavors.
- Oversee the daily operations of the South Indian breakfast kitchen section.
- Monitor inventory and ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.
- Optimize processes to maintain efficiency during peak hours.
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques.
- Assist in staff scheduling and assigning daily tasks.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and service team to meet customer expectations.
- Customize dishes for special requests or dietary preferences.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in South Indian breakfast cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Expertise in preparing a variety of dosa batters, chutneys, and sambars.
- Familiarity with vegetarian and vegan South Indian cuisine.
- Basic understanding of food cost management.
- Flexible working hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and handling kitchen equipment.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
