The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the market presence for our overseas education consultancy services. This includes building strong relationships with educational institutions, managing partnerships, developing lead-generation strategies, and meeting enrollment targets for students seeking international education opportunities.
**Identify potential clients (students, parents, and educational institutions) through market research and networking.**
1. Generate leads through various channels such as social media, seminars, webinars, and partner networks.
2. Follow up on leads and convert them into clients by effectively communicating the consultancy’s services.
**Relationship Management**:
1. Build and Maintain relationships with educational institutions, universities, and other relevant stakeholders.
**Counseling & Consultation**:
2. Assess students’ needs and academic backgrounds to suggest suitable programs and countries.
**Business Strategy & Planning**:
1. Develop and implement strategies to increase the consultancy’s market presence.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and events.
3. Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
**Sales Target Achievement**:
1. Prepare Proposals & PPT.
2. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
3. Prepare and present periodic reports on sales performance and market feedback.
**Event Management**:
1. Organize and participate in education fairs, workshops, and informational sessions to promote study abroad opportunities.
2. Represent the consultancy at industry events and partner meetings.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**:
1. Work closely with the counselling and visa teams to ensure a seamless process for students.
2. Provide feedback to marketing and operations teams to improve service offerings.
**Preferred Attributes**:
1. Passionate about helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
2. Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
3. Ability to travel for business meetings and events.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
**Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role (preferably in education or study abroad services).
**Key Skills**:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Sales and negotiation abilities.
3. Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
4. Knowledge of the education and immigration process for study abroad.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
6. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
