KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determines work priorities, assignments and schedules for assigned payroll staff; monitors quantity and quality of work. Performs related functions such as interviewing, recommending hire, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure optimal payroll processing.
- Serves as a point of contact for identifying and resolving payroll processing issues.
- Partners with the Payroll Manager of Operations, HR, and Benefits to ensure that processes are documented, communicated and understood, and that employee issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Assists in ensuring operational compliance with internal control procedures and applicable statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Complies with Federal, State, and Local requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
- Works with the Payroll Manager to develop the skills and knowledge of the payroll staff supervised.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to remain alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
- Ability to work to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹17,678.63 - ₹70,000.00 per month
