We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator with proficiency in Chinese to manage and streamline our import processes from China.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Import Coordination**:

- Manage and oversee the importation of goods from China, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Coordinate with Chinese suppliers, shipping agents, and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Handle all documentation required for importation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- **Communication**:

- Utilize fluency in Chinese to communicate effectively with suppliers and partners in China.
- Translate and interpret documentation and correspondence as needed.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the import process.
- **Logistics Management**:

- Track and monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule and address any delays or issues.
- Work closely with customs brokers to ensure compliance with local regulations and smooth customs clearance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that goods are received and processed according to company standards.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and shipments.
- Prepare and submit reports on shipping activities, including performance metrics and cost analysis.
- Ensure that all import documents are filed correctly and in compliance with legal requirements.
- **Problem Resolution**:

- Proactively identify potential issues in the supply chain and work to resolve them.
- Handle any disputes or claims related to shipping and imports, working with relevant parties to reach a satisfactory resolution.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or a related role, preferably with a focus on imports from China.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in Chinese (both written and spoken) is essential.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation. Familiarity with logistics software and tools.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Ability to interact professionally with suppliers, clients, and team members.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all shipping and documentation processes.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to think critically and address issues effectively to ensure smooth operations.
