**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Import Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary import documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, customs clearance, and import permits.
2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant import regulations and certifications for chemical products, including hazardous materials handling.
3. Supplier Management: Collaborate with international suppliers to secure optimal shipping arrangements and negotiate favourable terms for imports
4. Customs Clearance: Coordinate with customs brokers and authorities to ensure timely and efficient customs clearance for imported goods.
5. Logistics: Plan and manage the logistics of chemical imports, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
6. Cost Control: Monitor and optimize import costs, including shipping, tariffs, and customs fees.
7. Quality Control: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that imported chemicals meet the required quality standards
8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to imports, such as supply chain disruptions or regulatory changes.
.**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, International Business, or Chemistry).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in import operations, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in import and supply chain management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
