**Job Title**: Import Executive

**Location**: Mumbai
**Department**: Import/Logistics

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee all import activities, including preparation of import documents, shipment tracking, customs clearance, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate and coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures, and import duty assessments.
- Prepare and submit import-related documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping manifests.
- Work closely with the customs department to resolve any issues and ensure clearance of goods.
- Maintain and update records of incoming shipments, customs declarations, and related transactions.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Assist in managing import budgets and control costs related to shipments and duties.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in import/export or logistics management.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with logistics and customs software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Knowledge of global trade regulations, import duties, and compliance requirements.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong understanding of customs procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification or training in International Trade, Customs, or Logistics Management.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
- Familiarity with global freight forwarding and international shipping carriers.

**Compensation**:
