**IT Helpdesk Technician Job Summary**:
The IT Helpdesk Technician will work in collaboration with our IT team in the USA to resolve Tier I & Tier II technical issues across the enterprise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, providing technical and troubleshooting assistance to employees globally, as well as escalating and assisting in complex incidents, deployments, and projects.
The general hours of work are Monday through Friday with weekend and evening ability, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid meal break.
**General Responsibilities**:
- Actively monitor and manage requests for technical support
- Provide competent, service-oriented support and resolve problems to the satisfaction of the end user.
- Provide PC, MS Windows, and other client software installations.
- Perform administrative tasks and document internal procedures
- Work with IT team ensure user-friendly solutions and services are delivered
- Research problems and identify trends
- Escalate tickets to an appropriate group as needed
- Timely communication with IT team and end-users
- Configure and deploy IT equipment and devices and manage inventory tracking
- Maximize the use of remote management tools to enable rapid response to user support issues
- Other duties as assigned
**IT Helpdesk Technician Qualifications**:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in IT Helpdesk Support
- University degree in IT, or equivalent experience.
- A+ certification desired
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in supporting Windows 10 and 11
- MS Windows 10, 11 - user level access, configuration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with mobile device management
- VPN, hardware/software support and configuration
- Experience supporting DNS, DHCP, SMTP, Active Directory
- Understand basic networking technologies and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN and wireless)
- The ability to lift light to medium weight of up to 30 pounds is required.
