Logistics Executive

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Executive to manage the seamless transportation of machines, spare parts, and related components. The role requires expertise in supply chain operations, import/export procedures, and coordination with suppliers, clients, and transport providers while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Domestic Logistics_

▪ Transportation & Coordination: Plan and coordinate the movement of machines and spare parts across domestic locations, ensuring on-time delivery.
▪ Carrier Management: Collaborate with local transport providers and warehouses to optimize routes and reduce costs.
▪ Delivery Oversight: Supervise loading/unloading processes to prevent damage and ensure safe handling of machinery.
▪ Order Fulfillment: Work closely with production and sales teams to schedule deliveries based on customer requirements.
- International Logistics_

▪ Export/Import Operations: Manage global shipments while ensuring compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and INCOTERMS.
▪ Shipping Documentation: Prepare and review essential documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit.
▪ Freight Forwarders: Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for smooth cross-border deliveries.
▪ Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on trade regulations, export licenses, and country-specific documentation requirements.

**General Logistics Management**

▪ Shipment Tracking: Monitor and provide real-time updates on domestic and international shipments.
▪ Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation and logistics without compromising efficiency.
▪ Inventory Coordination: Ensure proper stock levels of machines, spare parts, and related components.
▪ Risk Mitigation: Develop contingency plans for delays, damages, or logístical challenges.
▪ Reporting: Prepare logistics performance reports, cost analyses, and delivery timelines for management review.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**
- Educational Qualifications_

▪ B.Com. / Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience_

▪ 3-5 years of experience in domestic and international logistics, preferably in the manufacturing sector (experience with machinery or industrial equipment is a plus).
- Technical Skills_

▪ Knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs clearance procedures, and freight regulations.
▪ Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management tools.
▪ Experience handling oversized cargo, heavy machinery, and packaging standards.
- Soft Skills_

▪ Strong communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
▪ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
▪ Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

**Additional Requirements**

▪ Familiarity with HS codes, duty structures, and trade policies.
▪ Experience in reverse logistics for machinery repairs or returns.
▪ Flexibility to travel when necessary for inspections or coordination.

**Preferred Qualifications**

▪ Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
▪ Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their impact on logistics.
▪ Proficiency in additional languages for international coordination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
