The Network and IT Support Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and ensuring the efficient functioning of our network and computer systems.

**Responsibilities**:
**Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and identify any issues or bottlenecks. Troubleshoot and resolve network problems to minimise downtime.
- Perform regular network maintenance activities, such as patch management, firmware upgrades, and security updates.
- Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorised access, malware, and other threats.

**Technical Support**:

- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including computer malfunctions, printer problems, and software conflicts.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as required.

**System Administration**:

- Administer and support servers, including user account management, system backups, and data recovery.
- Monitor system performance and maintain system health by performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Ensure system security by implementing appropriate access controls, data backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and user guides.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps using help desk software or other tracking tools.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, network health, and user support metrics.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and best practices documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Network and IT Support Technician or similar role, demonstrating strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Experience with network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to provide technical support to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

**Salary**: ₹8,982.61 - ₹15,000.00 per month
