**Position Overview**:
The Investment Banking Intern is tasked with providing essential support to the investment banking team. Responsibilities include assisting with financial analysis, conducting market research, and contributing to transaction execution. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of investment banking and the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals while participating in real-world transactions.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Analysis:

- Assist in building financial models for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other financial transactions.
- Conduct basic valuation analyses, such as comparable company analysis and precedent transaction analysis, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Prepare spreadsheets and presentations to support the analysis and presentation of financial data.

2. Market Research:

- Conduct research on industries, companies, and market trends to support transaction execution and business development efforts.
- Gather data from various sources, including financial databases, industry reports, and news articles, to provide insights into potential opportunities and risks.

3. Transaction Support:

- Assist in the preparation of transaction-related documentation, including pitch books, offering memoranda, and due diligence materials.
- Support senior team members in coordinating with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors to facilitate the execution of transactions.

4. Learning and Development:

- Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of investment banking principles and practices.
- Seek feedback from colleagues and supervisors to continuously improve performance and develop professional skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in investment banking or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with basic knowledge of financial modeling and analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per year
