Job Details

We is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our organization to lead our efforts in advancing a robust information security program. The CISO will be responsible for further developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, policies, and practices to safeguard our organization's sensitive information, technology infrastructure, and digital assets.

Primary responsibilities (not limited to)
- Further develop and communicate the organization's information security strategy, vision, and goals
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect, CIO, technology teams and company leadership to integrate security into the business strategy
- Provide guidance and reporting on emerging threats, technology trends, and security best practices
- Plan, budget, recommend, and implement security software and hardware solutions for the network and IT infrastructure, using best practices
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks to the organization's information and technology assets
- Develop and implement a risk management framework to mitigate identified risks effectively
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure that risk mitigation measures are in place
- Ensure data, information, assets, and proprietary property remain secure from corruption, misuse, and internal theft
- Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Stay current and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in all jurisdictions where we conduct business
- Collaborate with the CIO and the Enterprise Architect to develop and implement a security architecture
- Evaluate existing technologies and recommend new products and services to enhance the company's security posture
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address security incidents promptly
- Lead investigations into security incidents and advise on corrective actions
- Coordinate with external agencies and law enforcement as necessary.
- Maintain and further develop security awareness programs to educate employees on security policies and best practices, at all levels
- Continue to foster a culture of security consciousness and responsibility throughout the organization
- Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and partners
- Establish and require a baseline of security requirements for vendor contracts and agreements

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience working specifically in an information security role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within information security, with a focus on strategy development and execution
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Strong understanding of technology and security trends, including cloud security, mobile security, and emerging threats
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
