**Job Summary**:
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for leading the organization’s information security strategy, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information across all platforms. The CISO will develop, implement, and manage the organization's security program to protect against cyber threats, data breaches, and other security risks. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Develop and Implement Security Strategy**: Lead the design and execution of the company’s information security strategy, including cybersecurity policies, risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery plans.
- **Risk Management**: Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks by evaluating the organization's current security posture and potential threats, ensuring effective controls are in place.
- **Compliance and Governance**: Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, laws, and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure policies are being followed.
- **Security Architecture and Operations**: Oversee the implementation of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems) to protect company data and systems. Ensure that the organization’s IT infrastructure is protected from internal and external cyber threats.
- **Incident Response and Recovery**: Develop and lead the organization's incident response strategy, including processes for detecting, reporting, investigating, and remediating security incidents or breaches. Ensure recovery plans are in place.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage and mentor the information security team, driving growth and development in cybersecurity expertise. Collaborate with IT, legal, HR, and other departments to create a unified approach to security.
- **Security Awareness**: Lead initiatives to train and raise awareness among employees about security best practices, phishing threats, and other cybersecurity risks.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the budget for the information security department, ensuring effective use of resources.
- **Collaboration and Reporting**: Communicate security issues and strategies to senior leadership, board members, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates and reports on security performance and risk mitigation efforts.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- **Certifications**: Industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or similar credentials are highly preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of information security technologies, risk management frameworks, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols. Familiarity with cloud security and emerging technologies is beneficial.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of information security laws, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across the organization.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security threats and risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Pay: From ₹90,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
