**Job Summary**:
The Part-Time Store Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting in sales, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. This role involves working closely with the store team to meet sales targets, manage inventory, and create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Location: Andheri west

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information, answer inquiries, and help customers locate items within the store.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly, escalating to the store manager when necessary.
- **Sales Support**:

- Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Support the store team during peak hours or promotional events.
- Participate in merchandising and display setup to attract customers and drive sales.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory.
- Restock shelves and ensure that all products are displayed neatly and accurately priced.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the store manager of low inventory or potential shortages.
- Help with regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping floors, dusting shelves, and maintaining dressing rooms or fitting areas.
- Assist in organizing the stockroom and maintaining an orderly storage space.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and prepare cash deposits as required.
- Follow store policies regarding cash handling and loss prevention.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other store staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve store performance.
- Provide support to colleagues during busy periods or when additional help is needed.

**Key Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications in retail or customer service are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is an advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 4 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
