Product Owner

**Our organization**:
As our new Product Owner you will become a part of the Product Owner Chapter in the Digital Core. An international chapter, with people located in India & Denmark. Though we are scattered across the world, we have a close collaboration, where personal development is the center of our attention.

We work in a scaled agile set-up, with squads staffed with a mix of Business & Functional Specialists, Developers, people from Centres of excellence etc. and constantly aim to improve our working methods and ensure high quality to create value for our consumers and stakeholders. Collaboration across the domain/tribe with other PO’s will be an important task for you.

We are approximately 160 people in the tribe who are responsible for developing our core infrastructure solutions, from four different countries, and a variety of different locations.

**What will you be doing?**

As a Product Owner in Digital Core, you will be responsible for setting the direction contributes to product strategy of your portfolio. You will have the system ownership and be responsible for preparation of requirements, planning sprints and managing key stakeholders and consumers.

Internally in the squad, you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing deliveries and in general, take ownership of the squad backlog to ensure deliveries that contributes to the strategy and vision of the area/tribe/domain.

All-in-all you will have the opportunity to influence the system landscape in Danske Bank, together with having a direct impact on our intent to move our portfolio to the next level.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To ensure transparency and close dialogue (listening, motivating) with stakeholders and secure the deliveries from your squad
- To have an overview of the product, requirements and progress, as well as prioritizing requirements and set the direction of the product
- To set sprint goals, sprint content and plan the backlog
- To build knowledge about the domain and ensure god knowledge sharing process within the squad

**Your contributions**:
We are looking for a team member who is comfortable with taking the lead and can engage in the dialogue with stakeholders and understand their challenges and system needs. You are a team-orientated person with good sense of humour and a positive approach to things.

You have solid communication and stakeholder management skills and have the ability to convey technical issues and solutions in an easy-to-understand way. You also need to secure high engagement and great teamwork within the squad.

You hold relevant higher education (IT, business, project management, or similar) and have experience from a similar role e.g. Product Owner. It is a clear advantage if you have experience within finance

In addition to the above, you have:

- A natural approach to taking responsibility, have a proactive approach to your work, as well as being able to see where we can do it even better
- No trouble asking questions and challenging requirements and solutions
- Good communication skills both orally and in writing in Danish and English
