The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles or equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in vehicles or equipment using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all repairs and services meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Provide clear, accurate estimates and timelines for repair work.
- Collaborate with service advisors to understand customer concerns and service requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, hours worked, and diagnostic findings.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive or equipment technologies, repair techniques, and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring the availability of required parts and tools.
- Test vehicles or equipment after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow up with customers on the status of repairs and ensure customer satisfaction upon completion.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a technical certification or associate degree).
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the automotive or equipment repair industry.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills to explain repairs and services to customers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license and, where required, relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification for automotive technicians).

**Working Conditions**:

- Typically works in a workshop, garage, or service center.
- May require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy parts, and working in various weather conditions (if performing fieldwork).
- Some positions may require evening or weekend shifts depending on business hours.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹19,768.98 per month
