**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Management & Child Development**:

- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate and creative curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring children are engaged and learning through play-based and structured lessons.
- Observe and assess each child’s progress and provide tailored learning opportunities to meet individual needs.
- **Instructional Delivery**:

- Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to engage students, incorporating hands-on learning experiences, storytelling, music, and art activities.
- Foster language development, literacy, early math skills, and social skills through interactive and meaningful activities.
- Provide clear and age-appropriate instructions, encouraging active participation from all students.
- **Parent Communication & Engagement**:

- Maintain open communication with parents about their child’s development, behavior, and progress through regular updates, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Offer guidance and support to parents regarding their child’s early development and learning at home.
- Engage parents in school activities, events, and initiatives to foster a sense of community and partnership.
- **Classroom Environment & Safety**:

- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and equipped with materials that stimulate learning and creativity.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety protocols and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their well-being and positive interactions with peers.
- **Professional Development & Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and enhance the preschool’s educational programs.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Contribute to the overall positive culture of the preschool by supporting colleagues and participating in school-wide initiatives.
- **Behavioral Guidance & Support**:

- Use positive behavior management techniques to promote self-regulation, respect, and cooperation among children.
- Address behavioral challenges in a supportive and constructive manner, encouraging problem-solving and emotional development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Preschool Teacher.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.
- Knowledge of safety standards, health protocols, and classroom management techniques.
- Passionate about early childhood education and committed to the holistic development of young learners.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- State certification or license in Early Childhood Education.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in developing and implementing play-based and inquiry-driven curricula.
- Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools and methods.
