A Tendering Executive for NHAI government tenders is responsible for identifying infrastructure project opportunities, analyzing bid documents, coordinating with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring the timely submission of compliant and competitive bids on portals like GeM or CPPP. Key duties include maintaining bid documentation, managing tender calendars, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring all tender requirements and submission deadlines are met for projects under the National Highways Authority of India. Key Responsibilities
- **Tender Identification**:Research and identify government tenders related to infrastructure, especially highway and road projects, issued by NHAI.
- **Tender Analysis**:Thoroughly review and analyze tender documents, scope of works, and eligibility criteria to determine the feasibility and compliance for bidding.
- **Bid Preparation**:Compile and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial bid documents, including proposals, quotes, and presentations, to meet tender requirements.
- **Team Coordination**:Liaise with internal departments (e.g., technical, legal, finance) and external stakeholders, including potential suppliers and partners, to gather necessary information and coordinate bid efforts.
- **Compliance & Quality Assurance**:Ensure all bids are compliant with NHAI policies and tender guidelines, and that all pre-qualification criteria and documentation requirements are met.
- **Submission Management**:Manage the timely and accurate submission of bids, whether online through government portals or physically, and maintain records of all submissions.
- **Tender Calendar**:Monitor and manage tender calendars to ensure that all deadlines, including pre-bid meetings, are strictly adhered to.
- **Market Intelligence**:Collate information from various sources to gather intelligence and develop effective bid strategies for securing contracts.
