**_Management Trainee, Property & Casualty Insurance_**

**_In this role, you are expected to have good knowledge of underwriting support work for P&C Insurance clients._**
**_ _**
**_Responsibilities_**
**_ _**
**_Manage teams and service level targets. _**
**_Guide direct reports, comprised of associates and SMEs, span exp of 12-15 FTEs _**
**_Monitor, analyze, and report on trends in the key performance drivers for team _**
**_Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client stakeholders _**
**_Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate risks _**
**_Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area _**
**_Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment _**
**_Facilitating goal-level creation for the broader function and works with managers to ensure the goals cascade to all associates _**
**_Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function. _**
**_Approving hiring and redeployment requests within his/her group _**
**_Queue Management - Effectively managing and monitoring queue _**
**_Performing Quality Audits and sharing detailed feedback for maintaining quality standards. _**
**_Root Cause Analysis on escalations received _**
**_Very good problem-solving skills & attention to detail. _**
**_Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems _**
**_Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment _**
**_Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work _**
**_Thoroughly review incoming requests and policy issuance information for completeness. Record and refer those that are outside the guidelines to the underwriting department for approval. _**
**_Provide quality control and assembly for all types of policies and endorsements generated by the business unit. _**
**_Ensure that turnaround time and quality of documents meets Company service standards _**
**_Provide customer service to underwriters, operations staff across the country(s), and other functions within Travelers. Contact internal resources to research and resolve issues _**
**_Take ownership for work-in-progress issues as an individual and team member by continuously looking for ways to improve/streamline work and procedures, which increase the efficiency of the team. _**
**_Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team, and office goals are met of performing quality audits_**

**_Should be responsible for weekly/monthly reporting to both internal management and client stakeholders_**
