iSOCRATES is looking for a capable, motivated System Administrator to take over all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our computer systems, networks, routers, collaboration tools like: G suite Gmail, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, RingCentral cloud phone systems, DropBox, JIRA ticketing system, Salesforce administration, GoDaddy, CyberGhost, Sophos firewall, MSP tools and more. As the only infrastructure staff member on our team, you’ll wear lots of hats and gain plenty of valuable experience.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- The System Administrator is responsible for monitoring network and server metrics and file systems such as disk usage, latency, DNS, and more.
- To ensure the seamless functioning of IT services, the system administrator performs regular testing and security monitoring. They identify potential errors and issues to avoid outages and ensure that the peripheral systems are technically sound In Windows and MAC
- One of the key responsibilities of a system administrator is to devise policies and put plans in place to reduce redundancies and IT incidents. In case of an error, they notify the connected computers by issuing alerts and managing system access within the organization.
- The System Administrator oversees managing tools, user permissions, passwords, and data organization. By designing best practices and keeping the other employees informed of security features, they ensure secure access to files and keep systems protected from external threats.
- System administrators maintain necessary documentation and collaborate with other teams to review IT incidents. This helps them to prevent future errors and develop more reliable systems that help improve processes and projects in the pipelines.
- Administration of Linux systems like user creation, permission, backup, and updating the security patches
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
- Fluent in AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and/or other cloud solution providers
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ experience in system administration
- Associate or higher degree in a related field
- Communicate effectively with others both on a technical level and on a business level
- Extensive experience with VMware & SQL administrator
- Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
- Basic understanding of the digital marketing domain
- Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
- Knowledge of AWS, and GCP is preferred
- Should be able to handle experiences on both windows and mac
