Pre-sales - Server & storage

**Location** - Bangalore
**Education** - Graduation in related field

As a Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Server & Storage solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and crafting customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of server and storage technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges related to server and storage infrastructure.
- Provide expert advice on the design, configuration, and implementation of server and storage solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and capabilities of our server and storage solutions.
- Address client queries and concerns during demonstrations, emphasizing the value proposition of our offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to design customized server and storage solutions that align with client needs.
- Create detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams and specifications.
- Coordinate pilot implementations to allow clients to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed server and storage solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance during pilot phases.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, contribute to proposal development, and ensure technical accuracy in sales documentation.
- Participate in client meetings as the technical expert, addressing concerns and providing clarifications.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in server and storage technologies.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on new products and features.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including product guides, best practices, and solution architectures.
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral with a focus on technical accuracy.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering role, with a focus on server and storage solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, virtualization, and data management.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support.
- Relevant certifications in server and storage technologies (e.g., CompTIA Server+, EMC Proven Professional, etc.) are a plus.
- Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in server and storage solutions.
