**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services essential to the success of infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that procurement activities align with project requirements, cost targets, and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support project goals and timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process—from requisition to purchase order to delivery.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company procurement standards.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, engineers, and the finance department.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and supplier performance records.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement within the infrastructure or construction sector.
- Sound knowledge of procurement regulations, materials sourcing, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software tools.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
