**Opportunity for Freelance Writer/Journalist**

We are a new digital magazine focusing on Environmental and Health-related topics, and we’re looking for a Freelance Journalist to join our international team of writers and editors.

If you’re passionate about pressing environmental issues and have a gift for storytelling, we’d love to hear from you

**About the role**:
As a freelance writer, you will:

- Write well-researched, monthly articles on topics such as climate change, wildlife protection, environmental initiatives, sustainability and more
- Include storytelling techniques with embedded media (photo/graphics/video)
- Have an in-depth knowledge of environmental topics
- Respect deadlines and produce accurate, compelling content
- Collaborate closely with the editorial team to meet requirements

- Citizen of India
- Proven experience in the journalism field
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A strong knowledge and passion for environmental topics, paired with dedication and commitment to contribute to a growing organisation
- The ability to convey complex stories into easy-digested and engaging pieces
- Collaborative, proactive and responsive communication skills

**Additional details**:

- Company type: India-based start-up
- Publication frequency: monthly
- Number of articles per month: 1 to 3
- Remuneration: Rs. 5000 per article
- Contract: freelance (6 monthly)
