**Position**: International Policy Research and Analyst (Remote, South Asia)

Master’s Degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, Strategic Studies, War Studies, Diplomacy and International Negotiations, Global Security.

**About Us**:
Regional Institute of Revitalization (RIR) is a Japanese think tank established in 1976. Our primary purpose is to promote various projects related to regional and urban development and contribute to the development of local communities. Recently, we have been cooperating with the Japanese government to carry out research on regional politics and international policy directions to provide policy references for the government. Our research primarily focuses on Asian countries, particularly East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, providing insightful research and analysis on strategic, political, and military issues. We strive to inform and influence policy decisions through our comprehensive and forward-thinking reports.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- We are seeking talented and dedicated researchers from South Asian countries, especially India, Bhutan, and Pakistan, to join our team.
- If you are a scholar, journalist, think tank expert, policymaker in government departments, retired or active military personnel, diplomat, or an on-the-job student in international relations, diplomacy, or related fields, we want to hear from you.
- Freelance writers with a knack for research and analysis are also encouraged to apply.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on pertinent topics within our research fields.
- Write well-structured and insightful research reports.
- Collaborate with our research team to ensure the highest quality of publications.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in your area of research.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and conducting research.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Expertise in politics, diplomacy, military affairs, international relations, or related fields.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven track record of published research and reports.

**Salary Package**:

- An initial one-month trial period with a salary package ranging from $800 to $1500.
- Post-trial period salary package ranging from $1500 to $5000.
- Potential for increased salary package with continued in-depth collaboration and exceptional performance.
