**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and manage MySQL databases for high availability and performance.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular optimizations.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Ensure database security, including access control and data encryption.
- Work closely with developers to optimize SQL queries and database schema design.
- Perform capacity planning and scaling for growing database environments.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in MySQL database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of database backup and recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience in query optimization, indexing, and schema design best practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, MySQL Enterprise Monitor).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and basic shell scripting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MySQL DBA certification or similar credentials.
- Experience with replication, clustering, and high-availability configurations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL) for MySQL management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This position is ideal for a proactive database administrator with a passion for ensuring database health and reliability, ready to contribute to a growing team by optimizing data management and availability.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
