ABOUT US:
POSITION: Experienced Accountant and Bookkeeper (Remote Position)
LOCATION: India
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the entire accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and maintaining the general ledger.
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing bank statements.
Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting principles.
Conduct regular audits and reviews, including inventory management, to identify discrepancies, errors, and areas for improvement.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities, including liaising with external auditors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer financial guidance and support decision-making.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Provide training and support to junior accounting and bookkeeping staff, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (not required but helpful).
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, or similar) as well as MS Word and Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in a similar industry or sector is a plus.
SALARY PACKAGE AND INCENTIVES:
- Starting at a minimum of INR 50,000.00 per month, with additional bonuses for completing supplementary tasks.
OFFICE TIMING:
**Office Hours**:
Our office is open from **Monday to Friday** between **10:00 AM and 2:00 PM**, followed by a break, and then resumes from **3:00 PM to 7:00 PM** (Eastern Time).
On **Saturdays**, our working hours are from **9:00 AM to 1:00 PM**, with a short break, and then we are available again from **2:00 PM to 4:00 PM** (Eastern Time).
