We are hiring an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper for our Hyderabad office, working full-time on UK business hours, six days a week. The right candidate will be highly proficient in Xero, with a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of UK accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero software
  • Scan, upload, and accurately input invoices into the system
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and supplier accounts
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Support payroll calculations and basic submissions
  • Maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals
  • Prepare financial summaries and assist with monthly reports
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with UK VAT and financial regulations
  • Communicate with UK-based management and external accountants
  • Keep digital records organized, backed up, and easily accessible

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with Xero (must be confident and independent)
  • Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Familiarity with UK accounting standards and VAT
  • Excellent accuracy, data entry, and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and follow UK time zone hours
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Proficient in Excel and other standard office tools

Job Details

  • Location: Hyderabad, India (office-based role)
  • Working Hours: Aligned with UK business hours (approx. 9 AM – 6 PM GMT)
  • Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Salary: To be discussed during the interview based on experience
