**Travel Agent - Schedule Change cum Customer Service (UK Market)**

**Role Overview**

You will be responsible for ensuring a **smooth and satisfying post-booking experience** for clients, coordinating with airlines and suppliers, and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Handle **flight schedule changes, cancellations, refunds, and reissues** using GDS systems (**Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo is**must etc.).
- Ensure accurate **PNR handling** — including checking **HX segments**, flight disruptions, and airline policy updates.
- Liaise effectively with **airlines, vendors, and internal departments** to ensure quick and accurate resolutions.
- Keep customers informed about **flight disruptions** and offer **alternative travel options** proactively.
- Maintain detailed **records of customer interactions and resolutions** for compliance and reporting.
- Provide **after-sales operational support** for UK-based travel bookings, ensuring adherence to UK travel market standards.
- Stay updated on **UK airline policies, fare structures, and travel regulations** to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle **complex ticketing issues**, including overbookings, cancellations, and multi-sector itinerary corrections.
- Uphold company reputation by providing **personalized, timely, and professional service** to every customer.

**Skills & Expertise Required**
- Proficiency in **GDS systems** (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or equivalent) for schedule changes, reissues, and refunds.
- Strong understanding of the **UK travel market**, including airline rules, fare types, and refund procedures.
- Excellent **verbal and written communication skills** in English.
- Ability to **work under pressure**, multitask, and manage several PNRs efficiently.
- Exceptional **attention to detail** and accuracy in documentation.
- **Analytical mindset** and problem-solving skills for handling complex ticketing challenges.
- Ability to liaise effectively with **internal teams, airline partners, and customers**.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Graduate** or **MBA / Certification in Travel & Tourism** preferred.
- Minimum **3-5 years of relevant experience** in air ticketing, customer service, or after-sales travel support.
- Prior experience in a **travel agency, OTA, or airline support team** handling UK-based clients or markets.
- Proven experience managing **GDS operations** and after-sales tasks (reissues, cancellations, HX, etc.).
